Hi  Borghesi,
I strongly recommend for you to do ASAP
1. Ask USCIS for tier 2
2. contact the congressman
3. contact the senator
4. send inquiry to ombudsman

This is what I expect as 20m is crazy too much because they are already scheduled app for Feb 2020 filers, we are behind over than 3 m now.

Yesterday I was super depressed and I contact the USCIS CS and that what I found   :
since Nov, 2020 my status was ( Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office)
on the other hand the USCIS customer service confirmed that my interview was cancelled by NBC  "National Benefits Center" 3 times!!. since Nov, 2020 , and when I asked about the reason they said NOT mentioned ...

***unbelievable*** USCIS sooooo baaaaaaaaaaaaad

I asked for tier 2 ( any officer) and contacted the congressman, senator and send inquiry for to ombudsman again and still waiting any reply

however my N400 was back on 11/13/2019 I hope the didn't reply by "you still within Processing Time" as they are still working on 11/10/2019 !!! they are BAD enough to do that

This is terrible. Did you hear anything?

Actually, an RFIE - request for initial evidence. Anyone knows what is the difference from an RFE? Is it normal to receive it 2 and a half years after filing?

I recommend to call USCIS CS # and get more information about

1. what documents requested

2. how you will send it ( via mail or you can upload it on your USCIS account )

I can see they buy more time, but why? we are already outside of the PT
please keep us updated

Not yet. I also happened to change my address the day before the RFIE was issued, so I don’t even know to which address it was sent x(

Login to USPS and make a forward mail. I wish they did not deliver it already to your old address. It cost $1 to get your mail forwarded to your new address for 3 months.

Nothing yet is appearing in your document tab when you login to your account?

Thanks MGMA. There is no problem yet as I have a one month overlap with my previous place. No document online because the RFIE is for the I-751

The RFIE came in the mail today. It says that I didn’t submit enough proof to establish the bona fidae of my marriage, and to send supporting documentation

Anyone has some suggestion on which documentation to send? When I submitted the application, I sent the following:

- leases for the previous years with both me and my wife on it;

- joint tax returns for the few previous years - I sent the IRS official transcripts;

- health insurance documents

- driving licenses showing same address

We have separate bank accounts - we have a share one, but we don’t really use it. Also, my wife has not worked over the last 2 and a half years - she took a one year hiatus, then corona started and we decided together that she should not work as she would have had to be in contact with patients - she works in the medical field. Any advice on how to respond? Should I consult with a lawyer, or is it something that I can handle myself?

it's so unfair after waiting over 30 months you have to pay almost 5K to lawyer just to have them schedule an interview  ..................
