Hmm

Your profile says you are at San Jose FO?  If so you are just about outside normal processing time (Nov 8 2019)

Have  you got your congressperson involved?

no I'm not, I'm SF office, it was a typo when I start 5 y ago

yes,

-over 10 time email on my acc and same answer since Nov 20 "Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office"

-call 2 times/ m USCIS CS

-contacted congressman, the senate and ombudsman

the only way left is to sue USCIS , but it's not fair to pay over  4 k to lawyer  just to get interview !!!

specially I've 2 cases pending, almost both of them out side PT , and have no issue in my cases

I'm still married same American citizen, since Oct,2015 ( same time I started my immigration process ),

never change my address/and any of my contacts

filing taxes jointly on time

No criminal records

never get any financial aid

travel abroad only 1 time for only 4 weeks in the last 5 years

Can hardly sue when you are not officially outside of processing time yet. Then there is a procedure to follow. I understand it’s annoying to be one of the small percentage at the extreme of the processing time guidelines. SF is worse than San Jose and it now takes 20 months to be outside of normal processing time, august 2019.

When did you file the i751?

No interview scheduled yet for me, however, the status of my I-751 (I am a combo I-751 / N400 filer) has changed to Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview as of this morning. Things are moving at least, hopefully I will be scheduled soon. Tagging @MMarco for visibility

After your Case changed for an Interview. Most of the time, you can expect your interview date in a month. Same day that your Case was changed.

Mine, the Status was changed Feb 09, 2021 then I got my interview appointment March 09, 2021. Good luck to your interview!

Thanks for sharing your experience AraBel, that is promising. One question: did your status change for the I-751 or for the N400?

Hi  Borghesi,
I strongly recommend for you to do ASAP
1. Ask USCIS for tier 2
2. contact the congressman
3. contact the senator
4. send inquiry to ombudsman

This is what I expect as 20m is crazy too much because they are already scheduled app for Feb 2020 filers, we are behind over than 3 m now.

Yesterday I was super depressed and I contact the USCIS CS and that what I found   :
since Nov, 2020 my status was ( Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office)
on the other hand the USCIS customer service confirmed that my interview was cancelled by NBC  "National Benefits Center" 3 times!!. since Nov, 2020 , and when I asked about the reason they said NOT mentioned ...

***unbelievable*** USCIS sooooo baaaaaaaaaaaaad

I asked for tier 2 ( any officer) and contacted the congressman, senator and send inquiry for to ombudsman again and still waiting any reply

however my N400 was back on 11/13/2019 I hope the didn't reply by "you still within Processing Time" as they are still working on 11/10/2019 !!! they are BAD enough to do that

Interesting. I know that my interview was also scheduled at least once and then cancelled, but they did not tell me why. I assume it was because of the I-751, which was also sitting at the NBC. Now that its status has changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview", hopefully the interview will actually take place and won't be cancelled. Hold tight, we are nearly there

You are officially out the processing window now. As of today USCIS is working on 11/15/2019 cases. Any updates.

My PD is Dec 14th, 2019 and I am still waiting for the interview to be scheduled.

Good bye USCIS. What a Journey it has been and thank you to everyone on here who has kept me sane through this process from K1, Removing condition and N400.
