My NOA Nov. 12, 2019 San Francisco office. Still no news for me 😞 I look at my form and I think there's three questions that I missed to answer maybe the reason why mine is taking forever. 😪

HI all,

I just received this:

February 2, 2021

Interview Was Scheduled

On February 2, 2021, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number ********. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Estimated wait time:

6 months

Do you guys have any experience, how long it takes to receive the interview in mail? What is that ``Estimate wait time: 6 months"?

Thanks.

Hey guys,

An update on my application. Case history:

February 2, 2021 Interview Was Scheduled
December 9, 2019 We are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time.
November 23, 2019 We scheduled you for a biometrics appointment
November 20, 2019 We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and mailed you a receipt notice. It is being processed at our Integrated Operating Env location.

Today I found out that my interview was scheduled for March 10, 2021 at Newark NJ center.

The letter says:

You MUST BRING the following with you to the interview:

• This letter.

• Your Alien Registration Card ("green card").

• Any evidence of Selective Service Registration.

• Your passport and/or any other documents you used in connection with any entries into the United States.

• Those items noted below which are applicable to you:

If applying for NATURALIZATION AS THE SPOUSE of a United States Citizen;

• Your marriage certificate.

• Proof of death or divorce for each prior marriage of yourself or spouse.

• Your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship. If applying for NATURALIZATION as a member of the United States Armed Forces;

• Your discharge certificate, or form DD214. If copies of a document were submitted as evidence with your N400 application, the originals of those documents should be brought to the interview.

I applied for N400 through 3 years marriage. I have a few questions.

1) Should I bring all documents (the updated version) I submitted for my N400 application long time ago like joint filling tax, joint accounts, joint insurance, all binding documents, etc?

2) Do I need to take my wife with myself like for the green-card interview?

3) What is ``Any evidence of Selective Service Registration." mentioned above?

4) Where can I find practice test for the civic test?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

I applied by mail (hard copy), did you applied online ?

I don't think that missing part will cause a delay, but I recommend to tell the Officer once you enter your intv

You should have the electronic letter in your documents tab within a couple of days online. Check every morning online. The hard copy letter usually gets to you a week or so later, and in most cases the interview is 3-4 weeks after you got the letter online. Great news for you.
