That’s not necessarily the only factor, staffing at the FOs matter too.

Might have been since it looks tabs on top looked refreshed but at the same time it's only completed or near completely cases only. So...🤷

i have my interview coming up shortly and my green card and citizenship are based on marriage. 

- Should I take my spouse to the interview? The interview letter was surprisingly vague and didn't mention this.

- Will my spouse be asked any questions? How does this part work?

If you still have pending i751 then I recommend taking your husband. I'll be doing the same.

Yes I have my interview coming up Nov 6 and I have both I-751/N-400 pending and my interview is on Nov 6. I got my interview letter and it didn’t say to bring my husband with me but I’m bringing him anyway in case they wanna ask him any questions on the I-751 portion.

Update to the update: That was fast! The Buffalo office called my wife on Monday to ask if she could attend the oath ceremony this Friday. Of course we agreed -- hopefully by Friday this will all be done!

 

It doesn't sound like Buffalo is doing drive-thru ceremonies like Albany, so I probably won't be able to attend, sadly. But at this point we'll just be happy to have everything completed soon.

The interview letter and the oath ceremony letter were both very specific about NO guests being allowed in the office. But it's not a bad idea to have him wait in the car just in case something comes up. They can probably also reach him by phone if there are any questions. My wife was allowed to text me after her interview while she was still with the officer so they could schedule an oath date for us.

Filed my N-400 application on 11/17/2019 (online). This morning I received an email notification from USCIS that they have scheduled my interview (as of 10/20/2020). I haven't seen the actual letter on the website nor via mail, but progress is still progress! Keep an eye out, my fellow applicants within (and around mine).

My wife attended the oath ceremony at the Buffalo office last Friday at 11:30 a.m. I went up with her but stayed in the car. She reported that everything went smooth, with the exception of one family that showed up late and was not showing proper respect for the occasion. They ended up getting reprimanded by the immigration officer! Even with the delay she was in and out in about an hour.

 

Last step was to go to the post office to submit her passport application. Got that taken care of yesterday!

 

Can't believe that our journey is finally done after more than 6 years. I just want to thank the whole VJ community for everything -- the shared knowledge we have is extremely valuable and the support is priceless.
