Congrats to those who were able to get one more step or the final one done in the middle of this limbo!

Aside from the immigration setback, I hope everybody is doing well, taking care of themselves and everyone else. Hang in there!

6-feet-distance hugs!

Nobody knows what is going to happen with COVID in the next month or so. I don't think they can be accurate at all. Unless they are planning on doing everything via videoconference, I don't understand why they would add back the estimations. Mine says estimated completion June, but estimated wait time longer than expected. I'm waiting for my oath ceremony, which is held at a court, not USCIS. So, no, probably not accurate. 🙁

On the other hand, I sure hope the estimations are correct and I can finally become a citizen in June! 😉

The uscis has extended the office reopening to June 4th. So any oath swearing or interview won’t be scheduled until on or after June 4th.

So I attended my interview on Feb 20, and did not get any news after that. This morning I got a notification and log on to myUSCIS account, It says my application is now Approved (on May 4). However, with the pandemic and everything being delayed, I'm assuming Oath ceremonies will not happen until whenever. Anyway, just sharing my news today. I hope everyone a safe day! :)

Great news but wish there had been a push for naturalization interviews as well, that's a significantly bigger backlog than those waiting for the oath. The interviews seem to have been forgotten.
