Recommended for approval! :)

 

Interview lasted 15 minutes, and only because I had not added my stepchildren (oops!) and the officer was a two-finger typer, lol. He was very nice, though.

Oath ceremony will be in Nashville and they'll let me know the date and location within 90 days.

Did you go alone or with your husband and children? My husband will come with me since I hate driving so long all alone. I am wondering if I should take my 1 year old or leave him with his grandparents 🤔

I went with my husband and toddler (by the way, my stepchildren are grown adults, and don't even live with us - not that I neglect them, lol)

My sister-in-law lives close to Memphis so we came yesterday evening and stayed with her. The interview was at 8:45, and they ask you to be there 30 minutes earlier, so the 45-minute commute was a bit of a pain, but for us it worked better this way rather than staying at a hotel.

Wow, that's early! I guess I would have stayed at a hotel in that case. (Sorry, sis-in-law) It's right there in downtown.

- What is the name of the Speaker of the House?

- Name one right only for US citizens

- One war fought by the US in the 1900s

- One power of the states under the Constitution

- Name of the President of the US now 😁

- How many US Senators?

 

I had to read "How many senators are there?" and then he read the answer that I had to write on the iPad, "There are one hundred senators"

Yeah we will definitely be staying at a hotel close by. The last time I was there for the Green Card interview(3 years ago), we stayed right next to the USCIS office at holiday Inn. We might do the same this time as well.
