You'll know once you're done with your N-400 application. I have seen you on December filers, keep us posted too.

You will need to think negative on that one 😂

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

I don't really have any idea as to how accurate it is, but my friend who filed two days ahead of me is already due for an interview next month (January 17th). She was like 😲😲😲 and so did I.

Wow! That's fast. I was surprised to know that August & September filers were already attending interviews.

Means I have to start preparing for the test. I was kind of pushing it off to somewhere around March next year to start preparing. No longer doing that.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

More Importantly, I am a proud Anti-Fascist!

I have seen threads from those who have filed early this year, who just got interviewed recently. I don't know but it seems to me that everything is quite unpredictable. But yeah, we better start preparing as early as possible (I have tried to review once and it wasa few days after I have filed my application online) since we never know when will USCIS schedule us for an interview.

Much luck to all of us here! 😊

our case is one of the 3 with pending i751, so I don't expect any big updates earlier than our actual 3rd year anniversary date. Which would be February and early February at best. Some positive vibes tho, checked our case a couple days ago and it "completed reviewing bio" message, changed to "actively reviewing by USCIS". Can't say the same about our ROC tho...lol

Cleveland, OH is her field office.

Oh that's one of the fastest local offices for processing N400. I've seen one person here whose status changed to interview scheduled right after he finished his biometrics appointment.

Yeah, I happen to check the processing time of her field office a while ago and you are right.

Just had my biometrics appointment today. I was originally scheduled at 1530H, but we went there immediately after my OB appointment and arrived there at 1240H. We didn't stay there that long and there were only three applicants when we got there including yours truly. We probably just stayed there for like five minutes and at 1300H, I got an SMS and an email saying that my case was just updated and that they were actively reviewing my case. Had to log in to my uscis.gov account and the estimated completion date is now a month earlier (used to be July 2020). I was handed out a reviewer but there is also the one that you can study online which can be found on their website. I am very delighted that I'm done with biometrics before giving birth.

Congrats! I know what you mean about getting that done before birth. I could have filed under the 3-year rule a couple years ago, but I had just had my baby and I didn't want to deal with anything like that with a newborn, from filing to biometrics. Then life happened, more than two years went ZOOOOM! and here I am, applying under the 5-year rule 😊

Similar. I actually never intended to become a citizen for a number of reasons but the most important reason being that I planned to go back and run for an elected office sometime - Not president lol, more of a district or regional office - and the constitution only requires having sole Ghanaian citizenship for that. Life just happened and my wife and I will be staying here longer than we planned and considering we're paying property taxes etc., I wanted my voice to be part of the decision making process in my community. That and I very much want to vote in the 2020 elections! So here I am applying after 5 years :-)

We still plan on moving back probably in about 5 years to my country and at which point, I may just rescind my citizenship and just either re-apply for permanent residency or just go back and forth on visas.
