Update! My biometrics letter showed up on document tab. Scheduled for Dec 24 at 9AM.

You should probably plan to attend before the 24th considering it's close to a major holiday.

Their offices are virtually empty any day after 1.00 pm - I was the only one in the center when I did mine this past Monday.

Best time to go for a walk-in would be in the afternoon.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

More Importantly, I am a proud Anti-Fascist!

Just had my biometrics appointment today. I was originally scheduled at 1530H, but we went there immediately after my OB appointment and arrived there at 1240H. We didn't stay there that long and there were only three applicants when we got there including yours truly. We probably just stayed there for like five minutes and at 1300H, I got an SMS and an email saying that my case was just updated and that they were actively reviewing my case. Had to log in to my uscis.gov account and the estimated completion date is now a month earlier (used to be July 2020). I was handed out a reviewer but there is also the one that you can study online which can be found on their website. I am very delighted that I'm done with biometrics before giving birth.

Just finished my bio today. Was super quick and efficient at the Orlando USCIS ASC.

Also now my estimated completion has moved to Aug 2020 from July 2020.

Completed my biometrics today. Case status shows "We reviewed your biometrics" and Estimated Completion time changed to October 2020 from November 2020.

Pretty much the same with my case status. Did an early walk-in today (12/11), original appointment was scheduled on 16th. Case completion time changed from June 2020 to July 2020 for me and current status shows " We reviewed you biometrics".

HI All,  I did an early walk-in for my bio today 12/11 at the USCIS Alexandria, VA support center. Originally scheduled for 12/16. They did ask me why I am coming in today rather than wait till 16th. I explained I was busy that week and following week so I would not be able to make it for two weeks and then holiday time would start. The officer was nice, he just smiled and said I will let you do it today. The whole thing lasted less than 10 minutes, in and out.

Just logged in to USCIS online account to see that status was updated to "We reviewed your biometrics" and the estimated completion date changed from June 2020 to July 2020.

Good luck !

That's great. Yes they were all nice and they did not have any wait time. Also reading from your post earlier, glad you are done with your biometrics before your child is born. Congratulations soon to become mommy !! 😊

Thank you so much @Pete20155!! I am already a Mom, now soon to be a Mom of 2. I believe the perfect time if anyone will attempt to walk in is in the afternoon. I was so happy when we got there because I got to finish everything real quick 😊 .

Oh great, now you are going to have double the fun with another kid on the way. God bless you.

I believe so too that afternoons work best , even  can escape with the crazy morning traffic here in VA.

Best wishes !

Does anyone know how accurate the estimated completion timelines are?

I chanced upon the August 2019 and September 2019 filers room and they are already having their interviews though they reported their estimated completion times as being set to mid to late 2020 etc.

If this trend continues, it's possible our interviews will be scheduled anywhere from February or March 2020.

I'm used to waiting several months (AOS took 9 months and ROC took 13 months) so I find it interesting that the N400's seem to be processed much faster.

I don't really have any idea as to how accurate it is, but my friend who filed two days ahead of me is already due for an interview next month (January 17th). She was like 😲😲😲 and so did I.

Yes that is possible if you have a time machine.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.
