Hello folks, Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving ! I received email from USCIS yesterday morning saying they have taken action on my case and to login and check the status. When I logged in, I was glad to see the status "We scheduled your biometrics appointment" View your letter on your documents tab for the appointment date, time, and location. However when I checked the documents tab , it did not have any letter. May be they take some time to upload the Biometeric appointment letter. Did anybody else experience similar situation?  Is this something I need to be worried or I should call the USCIS customer service ? So far I have not received any letters from USCIS via Paper Mail. Please suggest.

On another note, I am happy that the estimated case completion date shows June 2020 (6 months).

Update: I was able to see my Biometrics appointment letter today (12/03) in the Documents Tab of my online account. It is scheduled for Dec 16th at their Alexandria, VA office. I might do an early walk-in this week or next week as time permits.

My biometrics appointment is next Wednesday. For those with 10-12 months of estimated completion time, when do you all plan to start studying for the test?

I already created flash cards for all the questions (there was one slow day at work!) I wrote on them the one answer I am planning on giving, instead of all the options available. Then I set apart the ones that I already know the answer to, and I keep the rest in my drawer at work. Once in a while I pick 2 or 3 and read them. I am not going to go crazy about this test!

Are you checking your USCIS account twice a day yet?

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Your strategy sounds great especially for visual learners! Another resource i have used is the N-400 practice test on youtube where the questions are read (twice) and answered (twice). I listen to that every day on my commute to work and commute back. I do this every other day. Trying to listen to understand and not cram.
