Got my biometrics appointment letter in the mail on Friday. Will try to attempt a walk in on Tuesday, hopefully they allow me to. Have a busy work schedule coming up ahead

Why are people doing walk in vs going to their appointments? We're scheduled for Wednesday for out biometrics. Did I miss something?

Well it all depends on your circumstances for the most part. Like for me I work on my appointment day and it’s going to be hard to take it off. If you can attempt to walk in before your scheduled time at a time more convenient to you. Like Tuesday I report to work later in the day so I could attempt a walk in

Cool, thanks for clarifying. So my wife's biometrics is scheduled for Wednesday and that's around the corner already

Got my biometric letter, appt on dec 9th, does anyone know how long after to receive the interview letter, i know it takes month, i will be traveling in february for a month but dont wanna miss my interview

I don’t think anywhere in California gets it done that fast, Fresno is faster than the big cities but still normal time is 5.5-8.5 months processing for n400. If you just filed in November I really doubt you’ll interview in February. Do you know anyone else in Fresno to ask how quick they got their letters?

I don't believe your installment payments will have any impact on your citizenship. If you can show proof of that installment payment plan and payments you have made already to the IRS that shows good faith to your IO that you are being responsible in paying what you owe.

Yes bank statements showing payments and the installment payment agreement(from the IRS) if you have it. I doubt that paying what you owe will be seen as problem, that's the exact show of good faith and responsibility. Don't worry too much :)

I understand. I advise to just prepare as best as possible. Worrying makes this process even more stressful. Hope for the best, try to stay positive. :)

So just an update of how my attempted biometrics walk in went. So my job had a 1 hour delay cause of the snow storm. I so said I’ll try to use this as a goos time to attempt my walk in. Got dress and by the time I got there for 8 the application center had a sign saying they not going to open until 10😞 cause they also to have a delay. Anyway I finished early with my schedule client for the day and rushed over there like at 3:25 and I was the only person there for biometrics, at first the guy give me a hard time but he is a cool dude, I remember him from my first time around. So I completed my walk in and check online and instead of 8 months now it’s 6 months for completion

Looks like once biometrics is done and they confirm your ID they update your case. Hopefully our is updated faster, but I've seen some get push back as well. Best luck to everyone
