My biometrics was for 12/13, but I did a successful walk-in today at Manhattan, NY ASC. They didn't ask why and I didn't offer. Was in and out in 40 minutes.

You as well, Malak1.

I love that our November filers group are more active than appears to be normal among the other group. Taking these steps, even if only online, makes me feel closer to you all, even though I barely know you.

That  was so nice of you. I feel the same . And everyone here are very thorough when answering the inquiries we all have. I feel I am not alone in this journey and I wish all the best for everyone :)

I would attempt a walk-in (and I’d try it sooner rather than later), explaining the reason. If they let you in, great. If they don’t, use the option on the letter to reschedule. I certainly wouldn’t attempt a walk-in on 6 Dec and then try use the letter to reschedule an appointment that is the next working day, it obviously won’t be received in time and it’s a risk to the application.  Your bio letter should be very clear about the need for rescheduling and the problems of not showing up, unless it’s changed this is all in big bold letters at the top.

Thanks Susie. I will try to see if I can go there sometime next week. Hopefully they allow me to do the early walk-in or allow me to reschedule at the ASC center.

I agree.

VJ has definitely been a great help and saved me several thousands of $ in attorney fees as I was able to do the applications myself with the help of the resources and answers here. Whoever set up this site has no idea how an amazing resource this site is!

Wow! I'm just south of you in Portland and it was 9 months for me. You will think Seattle with the multiple field offices will be faster. Best of luck to you!

Hey everyone. Joining the waiting train. I applied for N400 base off of 3 years married to a US citizen. I could of waited till next year March for 5 years but I didn’t feel like waiting. I applied on the 20th and and received an update online on the 23rd that they mailed my biometrics letter and hopefully it comes tomorrow. My estimated completion date is July2020

Wow, we're exactly on the same boat. I didn't apply at first on March of last year since my ROC at that time was still pending and later got an RFE. Wasn't really planning to file for n-400 six months after I got my 10-year GC but had no other choice when I was told by a friend last week about the fee increase on December.  I also applied on the 20th, just had the NOA letter but still waiting for the biometric schedule in the mail. Hope everythings goes well with everyone. I am hoping to get my biometrics done before I give birth to our second child since I am already on my 33rd weeks.
