Since you applied though a lawyer, they file via paper.

Once they receive it, they will process it and then you will be able to add it to your account.

My biometrics is scheduled for 12/13. I work about a few blocks away from that ASC, so I think I will try doing a walk-in just about everyday until they let me in.

Take the letter with you. I did a walk in. I told them I will not be available that day and if it was possible to do it today. I asked kindly and they let me do it.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Right now only people who applied online will be able to see it in their uscis account. For paper filers you would need to wait till you receive the confirmation receipt with your case# then you have to manually add  the case# to your online uscis account to be able to see yours.

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

I sent my application in paper last week on Nov 19th, they received in Nov 20th. Today, I noticed they cashed the check at Phoenix.

I already have a USCIS ELIS account from a previous application - I included that number in my application, and it is shown in my account right now, with July 2020 case completion time .

Good luck to everyone!

Here's to hoping they will let me. NYC ASCs can be a bit temperamental... understandably due to the volume of applicants going through it.

Where did you find this information, did you receive a receipt number after submitting it?

I went to the website and it was on my profile updated this morning.

Did you file it online? or your send your application by mail?

I believe their response do vary since not everyone gets one real quick. I suggest to keep checking your email and go straight to uscis.gov website https://myaccount.uscis.gov click file on online which will let you log in to your uscis account (this one is only for applications filed online since I believe the one in the app is a different one, remember what I have mentioned to you the other day?).

Hope it helps.

If I am not mistaken, he has filed it online and he also put his entry on our spreadsheet. It says online there and not paper.

I filed my older daughter’s application yesterday. She just missed naturalizing with me, because she turned 18 a few months before my oath ceremony. It was a straightforward, uncomplicated application given her age. Estimated case completion is 10 months via SF, which is 2 months less than my estimate was around a year ago (my estimate ended up being almost exactly right), so it appears the worst of the backlog is behind us. She’ll be moving to NYC sometime between June and August for the next academic year, and we’ll transfer the application at that stage if it’s still in progress.

Hello Everyone! I submitted mine last night and upon checking the website says estimated time of completion is March 2020 (4 months) 😊

That’s fabulous! I so wish we were at one of the faster offices.

The thing though is how accurate the estimated wait time is?

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Gotcha. I did not refer to the spreadsheet. Thank you for clarifying. :)
