Cool!  Would love to hear update of what information (generally speaking, of course) your senators office provides to you.  I may look into that route if I start getting really antsy 😂

Good Luck and I hope you get some great news soon!

Lol how funny I just got an email from the senators case worker just now.

“Per our USCIS liaison the case is still pending interview scheduling. They recommend we follow-up in 60 days if you have not heard anything.

Response:

Dear Xxxxx,

Xxxxxxxxxx case (xxxxxxxxx) is undergoing processing at the National Benefits Center for interview.  Due to the current situation there is no estimated time-frame as to when the case will be scheduled.

However, please feel free to follow up in 60 days.

Thank you”

Another update on a service request I put in on July 16...

The status of this service request is:

So I was able to renew my driver's license. But this is a one-time extension and will be valid only for 4 months till December. Also the Georgia DMV doesn't give any written letter stating that they cannot renew my driver's license. So after this extension the only option will be to have the stamp in my passport.  I don't really think that my cases will be done by December so I'll need to deal with USCIS appointments again.😫😱😱

All, I got an update this morning on my case, "We scheduled your interview". Finally!!!

I'll keep an eye on the documents tab to see the scheduled date, will keep you all posted.

What's the best way to prepare for the civics test?

I created flash cards with each question on one side and one correct answer on the other.

You can start by leaving out the ones you already know the answer to, and study just a certain number per day, instead of all at once every day, which can be overwhelming. Then have someone test you as if you were at the interview.

There are also lots of videos on youtube and apps, but it comes down to the way you learn best. Good luck!

I have a question on what documents to bring to the interview..

Any evidence of Selective Service Registration.

I was in the US on F1 and then H1B between the age 18-26 years, and then got my GC via marriage at the age of 29years.

So I am confused what evidence do I need to bring? Anyone had the same situation, or had this experience?

thanks in advance.

Thank you. You can see my timeline in my signature. I'm not sure when did you file yours, it seems like they are now working on applications filed in November 2019 in the DC office. I saw another early Nov filer got the interview scheduled last week.  Hope this helps and hope you hear something soon!
