Hi all and happy new year! Just to confirm - you don't send the documents on the packet 3 checklist to the consulate in MTL, they just want you to confirm that you have the documents correct?

thats correct, they want to know you will have the documents for the interview!

Does anyone know what they want for item o. Copy of the U.S. petitioner status in the USA in the list of documents in packet 4?

Anything which shows citizenship status, such as a copy of their birth certificate or the bio page of their passport.

FYI, at my interview, nobody even asked to see this, but results may vary. :)

Thanks so much!!! It’s always nice hearing from someone that’s already done the next step! 😉

I've submitted Packet 3 and am currently in the process of getting the I-134 together. I am the one moving to the US and we will be living with his parents for the time being and they've agreed to be a joint sponsor. I've done some research into this but there are three different forms that come up all stating Affidavit of Support - I-134, I-864 and I-864A. Does anyone know other than the I-134 which he will need to complete, which is the correct form for parents in the household? Thank you!

Yep! I brought both of these and they didn't ask for them.

Morning!!!

I’m happy to report that we finally received our first ready yesterday after the consulate received our petition on Dec 27.

I had sent Montreal an email yesterday morning since it was still showing as in transit and a few hours later, the ready status appeared! Now to wait for the second ready...
