I booked mine for March too! Got my P4 this morning from the consulate.

Question, do we need both the I-134 and 1-864? It says this on the packet but they are both affadavit of supports?

Thanks!

Congratulations!!!! I know you've been waiting a long time.

The only form you need is the I-134; the I-864 is needed when you file your adjustment of status.

Good  Morning!

I'm a little bummed out this morning. I had booked a train ticket on Via Rail from Ontario to Montreal for my interview next Tuesday and due to all the First Nations protests, the train service has been cancelled "until further notice". Luckily I am able to drive there instead but I was really looking forward to 7 hours of movie watching and wine drinking before my interview the following day. lol

Aww man! Total understand why you’d be bummed. I would feel the same way! A train ride and driving bring two totally different feelings lol.

Congrats! I also have my interview scheduled for March 4th :), doctors appointment coming up this next Tuesday. Everything is going super smoothly now.

On the 'what to bring for the interview', its says we need to have the petitioner's birth certificate. Is it alright if it's a color copy? They're a little reluctant to be mailing around their only copy internationally, and I just wanted to check if any of you have had experience with this yet.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I was just wondering about that too. I have to double check to see if her original is in our pile of paper work. I had my medical done on Tuesday and interview is next Wednesday, the 19th.

For the record, I wasn't even asked for the petitioner's BC or residency or anything other than proof of employment and supporting financial documents. Don't over think things. A regular copy will be fine.
