Diversity visa effect on n400?

Hey guys, just curious,

Does diversity visa (green card lottery) application affect my application for n400 ?

I applied for it while I was still in a relationship with my wife now (in hopes to speed up the process of coming here and avoiding the k1 costs etc) but of course didn't get picked.

Edit- I may have posted this in the wrong sub, sorry , mods can you please move it to the correct one ?

***** moved to K1 forum for now ******

Op, I hope that is the right forum to move it to- I am a bit unsure, as you mention the K1 (which it shouldn't affect ) but also the N-400, which is citizenship and you can only apply for that after several years of being a greencard holder.

Hey.no worries.

I meant I came on a K1 visa and before I got it I applied for diversity visa to avoid the lengthy process for it, but I'm applying for N400 soon.

Even if you did, what's the worry?  The uscis has records of everything that was submitted to them already by you or on your behalf

YMMV

Moved to US citizenship  :)

Since your DV lottery app wasn't an issue for the K1 and then AOS, it won't be an issue now.  The only way it could be an issue is if you lied on the lottery app, and it wasn;t discovered until now.

It won’t be asked anywhere and you don’t need to disclose it.
