I'm assuming there's no way we can be on the next shipment, right?

With holiday this week we don't have any idea what they will do other then send those who were assigned by last Wednesday.

Today and tomorrow are big days for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discourage if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available till Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

So just being a bit overwhelmed with all this reading.

Can someone tell me if these are the right NEXT STEPS please.

UCIS fowards to petition to  NVC

NVC sends notification that petition gets foward to US Embassy (Ours would be in Manila)

Once Embassy has my Fiancee's paper work she will receive a packet through DHL

While we wait for that we should file the DS-160 or after we receive that packet?

Schedule medical

After Medical schedule interview at Embassy?

I thank you for the help

The best website to walk you through step by step what do, when to do and where to find forms.

Hank's website

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

You have to wait for the US Embassy in your fiancé's country to receive your package from the NVC. The FAQ at the start of this forum topic has the links to check the NVC status.

I'm in the same place as you. Completed the DS160 and have all my supporting documents. Anxiously waiting for the US Embassy to receive our case.

Hi Matt And all

thank you for the info.

Matt I hope you are fortunate to hear good news soon ..

I just called NVC

as i Already  was made aware  - they received my application at NVC 04Nov

they issued Case NO and Invoice NO

the email have not been send and case is still in Administrative Processing

which  according to NVC was odd given the timeframe - the NVC nice Lady mentioned that my case was on their Old system - by the sounds of it they are changing IT infrastructure - anybody hear about that ??

I submitted an additional email address- just in case and was advised I should try call back in a week or so i I still have not heard anything back.

for K1 visa - you do not need to submit anything to NVC - all is handled at the Embassy level-

I hope the will forward the petition to the Embassy soon..

When you fill out the NVC email form do you just put “email update“ in the question space along with your info?

Straight from the PDF found on page 1 of this thread. Please download as it contains tips, tricks and hacks for this stage you are in now. I authored this document just so it would answer your question before it became a question.

1. How do I update my email address with NVC: Once you receive your NOA2 approval then contact NVC via https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html to update your email address as well as your beneficiary's email address. This will give you an email alert when your file arrives at NVC, your case is assigned and when the file leaves for your Embassy. Enter the petitioner's information as well as the beneficiary's in the "empty box". Full name, Date of Birth, (use DD/MONTH/YYYY, i.e., 08/April/2019 for the DOB field) NOA2 receipt number and WAC number. We have found in some cases that emails are never sent and in other cases this works well. So, your mileage may vary.
