So, we are waiting for our interview date. But my petitioner is moving from his current address. Do we need to notify USICS? If so, how? Calling them, mailing?

Thank you!!

Sometimes, for simple questions trying a good search can turn up your answer much quicker.  Here is the website that you use to change your address.

As a quick update, I've been looking around this thread and the PDF for this answer but could not find it.

We received an email on January 21, 2020 from NVC that they are forwarding the Petition to the Philippine Embassy. We completed our DS-160 today.

Three Questions:

1) Did it ship on January 21 or on the date we completed our DS-160?

2) Is there an official notice in the mail that is to be sent to me? Any other notification? (we have not received anything beyond the email from NVC)

3) Last, how long does it typically take to get the police clearance from Singapore? She currently resides there but her last day of work is on March 15, 2020. This is the last document she needs to get and from what i've gathered from past threads, this could be quite difficult.

Q1 - It ships according to the shipping schedule in the PDF. The PDF also states that the DS-160 affects nothing in this process except it's used for the scheduling of the interview and to present as a document to the CO during your interview.

Q2 - No official notice. If you have gotten an email feel lucky.

Q3 -  Processing time for each application is between 10 to 15 working days.  See https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Singapore.html for additional information.

Thanks for the information. One more question, My fiancee's Passport will expire on October 20, 2020. It is my understanding that the Passport Needs to have 6 months validity upon entering the USA. Is this a huge issue given the close time frame? and if so, what are my options now?

Thanks again.

Yes it's a very large issue. You won't be leaving the PI without 6 months on your passport. Get a new one now while you have time. Do what you are supposed to do and not do what you think your should do.

We will likely go that route but in the alternative, is it too risky to schedule an interview In March and then thereafter,  she plans on leaving the first week of April? That would leave just a little over 6 months on her passport.

Also, we already completed our DS-160 with the old passport information. Is this an issue? It's my mistake for missing that requirement.

When it comes to this process and all the way to naturalization for my wife, I NEVER risked any part of what was asked. I never came close to an expiration date without renewing what I needed to renew to be in compliance. This is your process, I can only tell you what my experience is. Note: I would never think that something was going to happen when I am not in charge of that process. So thinking that this or that will happen and concluding you think you are safe is playing "Russian roulette."

Just bring the new passport to the interview and ask the CO to update with the new passport. It's done all the time.

I really appreciate the information. Do you have any idea on how long it takes for a Passport Renewal? and should i be concerned about my k1 expiring?

These are questions that are specific to the Philippines and should be asked in the PI forum. Go to the top of the page and select "Forums" then scroll 3/4 of the page down to the regional links. Find the Philippines and select it. Some great ppl there to help you. That's where you should be now anyway.

Our K1 interview was cancelled due to Covid-19. We ended up emailing the consulate and requesting a new appointment (for medical non covid-19 things) asap. They gave us a new appointment time and day.

The interview went well and we were approved!

Now when to travel to the USA... is the bigger question.
