I just called nvc today (12/12/19) and we got our case number!!  Our case was received Dec 9th.

Others have reported throughout this thread that it is just a few days when they receive the email. It's not needed for anything it's just a FYI email. so don't loose sleep if it doesn't come.

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

What does the P3 say for that requirement. Also, what does Hanks website say you need.

2 copies of NVC letter with MNL #.  Isn't that the email they send, or will I receive a separate letter by mail?

We are doing the medical first then will schedule interview.

Sometimes you get both other times you will get the hardcopy mailed to you. Usually mailed 1-2 weeks after transit.

  • 2020-08-20: EAD in hand

When you complete and submit your DS-160 form it will default to a confirmation page that has a bar code. You print off a copy of that and take it to your interview as your CO will ask for it. More details can be found once you have your P3 letter for instructions.

What does your status say on CEAC? You may want to reach out to @Jasmin&Samina who are a little ahead of you and they have the same embassy as you. I'm sure they would be glad to be a mentor.
