Hey Vjers 

 

My case has been ready since Dec 27, I already scheduled the interview and chose the courier location. The interview is in Lima, Peru.

 

I saw that some people paid online through the website before they chose the interview date. I didn't see that option, It made me choose a date and to print out 

the confirmation., but I do not see where I can pay online. 

 

What are my other options? Can we pay the fee in person?

I'm happy you took the initiative to look at the embassy website for your answer. If you ever want a post deleted or are having problems contact a MOD by using the "Report Post" in the upper right corner of your post. A box will appear where you can state your request.

 

You should now be in your subforum for your region/country. Go to the top of this page and select "forums", then scroll 3/4 of the page down and find your subforum. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

No you shouldn't be concerned. It's the process that you don't trust. If you haven't already done so begin following the instructions that were given to you on what to do to schedule and prepare for the interview. I have been lurking here for the past 7 months and decided to create an account.

 

I have a question regarding the status of getting a case number assigned by NVC. Here is my timeline below:

 

K1 is for a Petition for my fiancee in the Philippines.

1)K1 Petition was approved by UCSIS on November 8

2) NVC received petition on November 26

 

At this point I have not received a case # and have been calling 3-4 times a week. Any help information or advice would be great!

A) Did u speak to someone and what did they tell?

B)Or u have been calling and no one is answering?

if B, what time are u calling? Best time to call NVC is 7am eastern.

 

Maybe try calling your embassy they probably have your case. Last latest shipment was on the December 23 2019

They probably have it at the embassy already. 

Have you checked your e-mail to see if you received the NVC letter that your case was being sent to the embassy at the time?

NVC basically has repeated to me that they are working on the matter and have yet to assign a case #. They would reiterate that they received it on Nov 26 and they cannot give me a time estimate of when a case # will he generated.
