Our case is ready as of today! ♥️ I already paid the visa fee 12/19 so I’ll just pay the medical and hopefully everything will be smooth.

Usually takes 2 days from posts I’ve seen. It took 3 because of the holidays 🤣 But thank you! Hopefully the consulate will receive yours soon! And best of luck with everything ♥️

To be honest we haven't scheduled yet. Everything is happening so fast 😅😅😅 we were kind if hoping the NOA2 would happen in February. Because I get to use all my PTO in May. I wanted to go back home help her to pack her stuff and to at lease see my family 1 more time. But looks like that wont be able to happen.

We're still waiting for our appointment date. *Sighs*

We emailed the consulate and asked if there was a delay expected due to the bushfires.

They responded today (today there the 27th) and said they were, "fully scheduled for the next two months." And that "you will be scheduled for the first available appointment slot."

Well that's a bummer.

It would be easier waiting if we knew the date.

I was pretty hopeful about getting to this stage thinking it would be fairly quick but governments and paper work will always prove you wrong. 😅

It comes back to the 'trust the process' philosophy about this visa stuff.

You can wait for her to come over, she doesn't have to come over right away does she?

Then you can go see your family and help her pack?

Damn, I was hoping to get an interview as soon as I can. But I had a sneaky suspicion that Australia would be doing things slowly haha hope you hear back from them soon! And hopefully I won’t be too far behind you 😃

I agree! From NVC to embassy phase, it’s overwhelming. In a good way 🤣 But best of luck! She doesn’t need to schedule for medical. She can just walk-in.

Hopefully you’ll get an appointment soon, @KittyKat3072!

God bless you ♥️

Yeah but it'll be better to schedule it you know? So instead of being waiting in line she can be guaranteed a spot

It’s first come, first served. People said it’s better to go Tuesday onwards instead of starting on Monday bc it’s usually packed.

This is what’s on the e-mail I got after registration:

I’m assuming she’s gonna do it in Manila though? If not, I’m sorry, please disregard 😂

Yea she needs to go to Manila.

Question for whoever is reading. The DS-160 confirmation goes the the e-mail that she puts on the form right? Or is it something you print right after completing?

I just checked my status and it says "ready" what should I do next? Do I need to wait for my letter from the embassy? I am from the Philippines by the way. Also it is the DS-160 right? Thank you😊
