We are applying for the ds-160 and my fiancee is here for a little sabbatical. would it be worth it to wait until he returns in jan and works again (delaying the application) or put unemployed and that he is on a sabbatical but returning to work in jan when he goes back to england?

The DS-160 can be completed with his current employment status. When you have the interview and present the I-134 then if he is working then his current employment is placed on that document.

Ok, i just wasnt sure if putting unemployed looks fishy or bad to the government. What do you mean "placed on that doc", we update the 134 or some type of paperwork that is literally placed / stapled to it?

Not telling the truth looks fishy and bad to YOU. Grounds for denial. So it will become "thank you very much for applying but your visa is denied" status.

I understand but that is not what im asking. Im asking should we wait until he returns  after this sabbatical and works again, then submit it then.

The DS-160 can be filed at anytime but must be filed in order to pay and schedule the interview. This is really up to you what works best when you complete the DS-160.

Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services?

this should be a no correct because the k-1 is non-immigrant right?

Passport document number, should I include the 2 letters that are there?

The key word is FILED. Not approved or completed. So has anyone ever FILED for you besides your current petitioner (in this case,  you = beneficiary). If so YES, if not NO. Most answer it NO as they have never had a case FILED for them prior to their current petitioner.

I am a Registerd Nurse here in the Philippines, and in need of help with these to questions.

Are you a graduate of a foreign medical school seeking to perform medical services in the United States but have not yet passed the National Board of Medical Examiners examination or its equivalent?

I am a graduate with Masters, and I do hope to work as a RN in the US. But I feel this question has a different meaning. Even though I am a graduate I was not seeking to perform medical servies, but to get married to my Fiance

Are you a health care worker seeking to perform such work in the United States but have not yet received certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools or from an equivalent approved independent credentialing organization?

I feel like this question has a different meaning as well. I am a nurse and i do want to work in the US but I was not seeking for work here when my Fiance proposed to me.

I have in the past recommended that you ask your questions in the Philippines subforum where others can help you. Their are many here from different countries with different backgrounds and may not be able to answer your question. @Hank_ is an expert their and has your answer if you take the time to get acquainted with the Philippines subforum.

The way I understood these questions is they’re asking if you’re gonna practice without passing  NCLEX first or whatever it is that they require before you can actually practice in the field. I answered “no” because I have no intentions to do so without being certified. I’m not sure though. So I think it is better to ask Mister @Hank_

Our case is ready as of today! ♥️ I already paid the visa fee 12/19 so I’ll just pay the medical and hopefully everything will be smooth.

Wow that was quick! There’s been public holidays in Australia so I’m still waiting for the consulate to receive it. Good luck with your interview!
