No it was only received today. So on their website it shows  what they are working on.

You'll see that as of Dec 9 they are working on cases that was received on Nov 8.

Looking at everyone's timeline it looks like it takes 2 weeks to get the case # assigned

So if your's is received today we should check before and after Christmas.

 

and if estimating is correct why are the first batch being sent out of 2020

Ill give a call next week. I am just hoping it will get shipped to the embassy on December 24, otherwise the next ship date is January 7. She was hoping to do the medical the week of Jan 12, and then schedule the interview for Feb/March when I can go with her.

Hopefully! that would be a nice Christmas Present.

I would check the site on monday the 16 and 23 it'll tell you if they have worked on it or still in line

Thanks again @RonAnn! We just called then, and got through after a minute. We got told they just received our case today. Yay! They told us to call again next week to see if we get a case number.

I called was received today. Said call back next week for Case #.

I just called nvc today (12/12/19) and we got our case number!!  Our case was received Dec 9th.

We tried calling last night at 10pm but was stuck on hold for over an hour. We eventually hung up since we both had an early morning. We called the immigrant number though, so we might give the non immigrant number a go tonight.

I called the NVC last night and our case was received Dec 9th and the case file was assigned Dec 10th (NOA2 was Nov 15th)! This is the best early Christmas present a girl can get!!!
