@Reyess for how long it’s valid the police certificate? You asked for it before while waiting for NOA2 or right after approval? I’m trying as well to understand when to start work on this documents.

Join us in the MARCH 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to Embassy thread and download the PDF file on the first post of the first page for tips, tricks and hacks to follow your case to the embassy. In that PDF file I outline all the different steps to follow your case. I've thrown in where to look and what to expect.

Also, specifically to your question here is the P3 letter for your embassy preparations. Your answer is at #3.

It's a very stressful time for everyone right now, but even more so for us who are waiting on immigration to be with our loved ones. Prayers for everyone going thru this process during this difficult time in our world.

Hi there,

I have the same NOA1 date as you too and also still waiting, so you're not alone in this battle :) Personally I feel that they might do extra checks on us, because we're both from Muslim countries, although I am not one. If it helps, you can talk to me too, it would be nice to have someone else going through the same situation together. Hopefully we will hear some good news this week, despite the uncertainty, I would also like it to be slightly later when the storm has passed i.e. with some embassies closing etc.

Stay strong! ❤️

I dont think that your statement is totally valid about the country bcs other couples from my country averagely had their approval on 110-120 days from their noa1. But yeah..like you've said..hopefully we will hear a great news within this week.. Stay faithful!! 🥰

Hi everyone we also get approved as March 17th afternoon by text and email. It was bitter sweet moment because what is going on about Corona virus all around the world. It was a horrible day for my job in US and her job in Ukraine. So Ukraine pretty much shut down everything and she can not even leave her city (no bus no train) plus US embassy of Ukraine close until further notice. Anyway thanks god we hire a lawyer from the beginning for our application and she will take care us and research. I know some of you will think lawyer not necessary for K visa but our lawyer is my friend and we want to do it just in case. Good luck for everyone...

With the on slot of embassy's reducing their staff and day to day functions, couple that with no VJ member is reporting that their case status went to "in transit" yesterday, I can only guess that there will be no shipments until further information is available. This is my opinion and has not been confirmed from any governmental agency, so I put it out there for your edification. I'm heartbroken that I have to report this grim news. Stay strong as we move further into the COVID-19 stages.

Approved at 117 days!

Such a relief!!

That's awesome! We're at 120, so hopefully right behind you. I submitted some documents that I forgot to put in the package after I sent the application, so I kind of expect a little bit of a delay with our approval. Patience!
