I have the USCIS app on my phone and that is how I've been tracking our case. We will be getting our official NOA2 letter in the mail sometime next week I'm assuming.

The NOA2 is sent via mail to the petitioner. Many are using the apps to follow their cases. All this information is in the PDF file including the answer to your question. Get yourself a copy as it full of tips, tricks and hacks during the phase of your journey. PDF is found on the first page, first post of the thread for NOA2 to Embassy. March thread is up so join us there. Here is a link to the file.

There isn't a right or wrong place to be during this stage. Just move over to December and participate with the rest of us. Welcome and ask any questions you may have except the "when will I get" question as no one has an answer. We can give you a guesstimate to what we see but as always your mileage will vary.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

We got approved! My fiancé called this morning to ask about our expedite request status. We decided to submit it on Friday for several reasons, mainly military ones. The officer told my fiancé a tier two officer would call him in the afternoon. He received the call and the officer told him that it was too late for us to actually to submit it as we were approved on March 13th 2020, on the day we did submit the request. Our NOA1 date was November 6th 2019. The officer also confirmed our address and said to expect the letter in the mail this or at most next week.
Is it common for people not to get notified online sometimes?
I have the app and we didn’t get any updates.
Wishing everyone else who is waiting to receive an approval soon!

It's not unusual to see something work one day and the next not work. In my PDF I state this about some of the process's, i.e. NVC when cases are assigned a number and you have emailed them your email address.
