Next thing we'll find out the sky is falling.🙆‍♂️ That would be terrible. Oy Vey. 🤦‍♂️

Not yet, but

“The World Health Organization on Wednesday declared the novel coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.

There are 118,000 cases, more than 4,000 deaths, the agency said, and the virus has found a foothold on every continent except for Antarctica.“

so it’s business as usual for the states, but I really feel there is something more especially when it comes to immigration and bringing people outside of America, in.

Hello Reyess, I know things are pretty tough around parts of your country, hopefully we will hear something soon.

The situation is quite difficult, yeah. My thoughts go to everyone who lives in a country highly affected by Coronavirus and is currently going through an hard time. Also my fingers are crossed for everyone who is still waiting.

As far as I can see with data they seem to be averaging exactly where they should be. The data here on VJ is an approximate based on those who are on VJ and who have accurately filled out timelines. It does not take into account those who are not on VJ etc. Let's not make an already stressful situation into more by adding

the coronavirus into the mix. It could be a factor and it could not be. We won't know until IF the USCIS decides to make a statement on it.

Patience. Calm. Reason.

Tomorrow is another day for approvals 👌

Do you mind expanding upon your statement "but I really feel there is something more especially when it comes to immigration and bringing people outside of America, in."

I'm not sure I am following your thought.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Uscis is implementing work from home. May actually be a good thing for us!

Best we can do is stay positive! Everything is 100% out of our hands so no sense in worrying and stressing!

I actually thought my timeline was visible to others, as well as my consulate in the same page. Please let me know if that’s not the case so that I can try to modify it!

Well, I get all that. But people have the right to worry, express frustration especially something so important as getting married. Trump ban travel incoming from Europe, and more is to come I’m sure. This is affecting everyone/everywhere... USCIS is no exception.

There is no problem with people expressing frustration and yes people have the right to be worried. I am in the same boat a everyone here but unfortunately all of this is out of our hands. I'm just as worried as many of the individuals here but remaining calm and patience is the key to this whole thing with and without this coronavirus.

I hope you're approval comes soon!

It looks like they are just expanding a previously implemented wfh program and were planning on it due to union negotiations prior to this covid19 fiasco. I bet all files are scanned and handled digitally.

It is by application from each and every USCIS employee that desires to work from home and not just a blanket ruling that everyone who is a USCIS employee will be working from home. They are just beginning the process in accepting applications, negotiating with the union and I'm sure it will be handled on a case by case basis as to whom can support the mission of the USCIS from their home location.
