But it ask you to do two things you did one of the two. Reread and complete your profile. Keep in mind, you can opt out of completing your profile as it is not a requirement. For me, opting out of answering your questions or providing links to important information is also and option. The red arrow is pointing to what you are missing if you are going to move forward to complete your profile. Good luck on your journey.

Do you want Italy or Pakistan? :D

I understand the confusion! Italy! While he still has Pakistani citizenship, he immigrated to Italy 8 years ago and is a permanent resident there and we submitted with Naples as the consulate. He's not been back to Pakistan in many years. I'm so grateful for you @Greenbaum! I've saved the response you gave about Naples.

His profile should be completed with the country to which he will interview in. So if he is interviewing in Italy, it should be the Italian flag otherwise if Pakistan then leave it alone.

I see you have completed the change and now your flag is showing but your visa type is missing. If you start at the top of the list and work your way down and fill in the complete profile then you will be set. Thanks.

The vaccination list from the CDC is for everyone but their are instances that dictate a different path for vaccinations. One is being pregnant or allergic to the serum. Those and other situations can be discuss with your Doctor at the medical exam.

My friends AND family ask about my application status every 2-3 days and it's making it really difficult to forget about it and wait patiently. Is anyone else experiencing this?

My boss does. We're a small team and they just let some people go because they were bad. It's really hard to find good people, even in retail, and they're going to have some serious problems the moment I quit. They did tell me that I didn't have to give the usual 3 months notice, so that helps.

I don't get asked as frequently but I would say someone from work asks about it atleast once a week. I just keep telling them it's a waiting game at this point! I can't tell you how many times I've explained this process to people. I always hear "Well why doesn't he just move here now so you can get married?" 😒 I keep telling myself that worrying or stressing isn't doing any good at all. It won't make the process go any faster!

Hmm, my family knows we are waiting on the approvals etc. They have not asked me again. Also,  my closest friends have also been through USCIS processes(!) so they have not asked twice! I told them we filed and are currently waiting. Some other people at work know we are engaged and are constantly asking when the wedding would be and I give them a "roughly May-June, depending on the visa timeline" as an estimate. I think that is the most annoying thing, but I try not to let that make me think too much about it. I think of the process regardless of whether someone asks me or not. But I make a conscious choice to see the positive side of it: being with my fiance soon enough! If you don't make that choice, you might find yourself feeling down. Do not allow that!

This might be helpful to you: Tell them! If you think they are asking too often, tell them you would update them when you hear the good news! 🙂 I would definitely do that! Protect your own mental sanity!!

Eventually they will stop asking.  Just be patient

Really? We have very similar time lines /same Embassy. I would be so thrilled if he got his visa that soon! I love your optimism!
