Hello everyone, I'm the beneficiary first of all I wanna thank everyone in this form because we used it to guide us through filing the petition in the first place.

Secondly we've run into an obstacle, we received the NOA2 on the 18th of October after 3 and a half months of filing the petition, and initially we were going to use my uncle as a cosponsor since he was kind to offer because my fiance the petitioner can't make the income requirements since she had to take care of her very ill father for the past 5 years, but we didn't know about the " house hold size thing " so after calculating again turns out  his household size would be 5 " including me " and that'd be ( $30,170 ) and he said he wouldn't be able to make that amount this year but he has made it the year before and we're moving in with him to start fresh in NY.

My question is should we still go through with him being the cosponsor since he has had that stable job for years and use last year's tax return or would it be unlikely to be approved ? should we continue with trying to find a different sponsor ?

Also is my Egyptian bank statement worth anything to prove that I might be able to support myself a little bit?

and does anyone know how strict the U.S embassy in Egypt is about these things?

I know I'm asking a lot of questions but we're panicking a bit about the whole situation since we've left it late. Thank you in advance.

I would line up an alternate joint sponsor, as with the new attention to public charge, being that close puts you at risk for a 221g refusal.  I have never heard that the beneficiary’s assets would be considered in Egypt, so maybe someone else can speak to that.

Thank you so much I have to agree with you since they might even look at the 125% rather than the 100% requirement since we'll be adjusting my status after.
