I wouldn't necessarily say easily, but certainly an option. I find one wife to be a manageable number for me. Well, most of the time anyway. I would have to imagine the desire to be single would rise proportionately with the number of spouses though.

I have solved the problem of wanting a husband and yet not wanting to deal with a husband. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years (and counting) and see each other only at the weekends. We have the kind of easy companionship and deep, sickening, syrupy lurve that makes people want to throw up in jealousy/disgust. We are "that" couple. Sure I miss him during the week, but it makes the time we're together pretty awesome.

However, I am finally going to give up on my life of blissful singledom next year. Why I want this so badly, I do not know. I only know that I am sick of driving from one side of LA to the other multiple times in a weekend, and it would be nice to have someone to make dinner for me a few times a week and pick up my stuff at the dry cleaners.

Becuse  women want to breed with strongest warrior and best hunter. Evolutionary speaking.  A man can plant many seeds at once, but a woman can only have one baby at a time.

Long and short its encoded in our dna.

I try to oversimplify things so you average folks can understand

Maybe, maybe not. It might explain the need to breed but that is ten minutes or so. Then women return to their love interest and the  one who can carry a conversation and knows something about the real world.
