This article came up in my newsfeed after this morning's discussion about throuples.  So just in case you were interested, something from Fox News:

I'm not a particularly jealous person but I can see how I might be if I had to share my fiance with someone else. I mean, he's very good friends with one of his ex-girlfriends (from a long time ago) and I don't let it get to me at all when they hang out while he's in London for work without me. I happen to like her a lot too, after we worked through some BS when we were younger. But I would never, EVER want to share him with her. If he proposed it, I'd tell him he could have her all for himself but I wouldn't be around.

PS: the comments on that article are AMAZING.  

I doubt my husband could keep up, God bless him. One Swedish wife is enuf. And I cannot imagine two men to deal with....still maybe it's like having me two dogs. They can keep each other company while I work all day and hang out on the couch. Does two really make a difference?

Well, I don't really need a second man to join the one I have now. What do I do with another one? They are kind of troublesome creatures to begin with though they have their purposes occasionally. I imagine two at home might cause them to gang up on me and air grievances that they have blown totally out of proportion because they've sat around all day grousing about my faults and comparing notes. Or they form a clique and it's like Mean Girls at home. Nope nope nope.

I agree, but these throuples seem to be in the same vein of what some of the Mormon's do.  They are not all arranged by the Jeffs's of the world, some of them are consenting.  Didn't they do a show on it, Sister Wives or something like that?

Jeffs is FLDS, not normal Mormon. He's a cultist. 

 

If everyone is consenting, fine. It just seems like a recipe for disaster.

Sometimes women get it wrong though, and end up with someone who may look like a good bet in terms of strength and hunting, but turns out to be a monster.

 

That's what divorce is for.

  I wouldn't necessarily say easily, but certainly an option. I find one wife to be a manageable number for me. Well, most of the time anyway. I would have to imagine the desire to be single would rise proportionately with the number of spouses though.
