Sending K1 Visa (I-129f) Today. Last Second Help

the petition is sealed in the big USPS envelope and ready to be shipped.

 

However. I made the check payable to "US Dept of Homeland Security"

 

I didnt spell out department entirely, is this acceptable. will i get RFE?

 

also, i read that you need to write 00/100 cents. is that correct? I just wrote "five hundred and thirty five" on the line

 

 

i just found out about this in the last second on here..

You'll find out if they cash the check and you get an NOA1 in about a week or so. I think you'll probably be fine as it's just an abbreviation and not a wrong department or anything. If they don't accept it you'll know around that time as well.
