Hi guys,

Well, I finally decided to go to my infopas appointment today. The short version of the story is that my EAD got approved back in Nov 2005, Dec 2005 got an email saying it was returned as undeliverable even though I have not moved. Called the misinfo line 3 times, and all they did was submit a request to have it resent but 4 monhts later no EAD card. In the meantime, I got my interview notice but I still wanted my EAD becoz darn it, we paid good money for it. Anyhow, so I got to the DC office today and I was too early so they kicked me out. It was soooooo cold, so I went to a lil coffee shop they have there and waited 45 minutes. Got back 15 minutes b4 my appointment time and gave them my apptmnt notice and took a seat. 15 minutes later I was called to teh window and guess what: the lady tells me that the only thing she can do for me is to RESUBMIT a request to have Lee Summit resend the card. I told her I've gone through that process 3 times already int eh past 4 months and that I wanted an interim EAD. She said she can't do that because the card has already been processed!!!!That's bull. The worst part is that she was the bloody supervisor so who the hell was I SUPPOSED TO COMPLAIN TO???????I'm so furious. I hope I don't get the same person for our interview because this lady was mean and soooooooooooooo rude!

Anyhow, that's it for the venting off! Will let you know how the interview goes.

Your situation seems very frustrating and unfair. :( Did you at least verify the address on the EAD card and the one entered at biometrics? A misspelling, especially if you live in an apartment or townhouse complex, could lead to mail going the wrong place.

You might ask your neighbours to keep an eye out for any mail addressed to you? Not sure if that helps but if USCIS can confirm if/when it was sent out that might be important to note.

26 January 2005 - Entered US as visitor from Canada.
16 May 2005 - Assembled health package, W2s.

Hi,

My adress is fine because after the EAD card was returned, I still received my interview notice, at the same adress, from LEE Summit. So, I just don't know what to think anymore. Oh well, I guess we'll see what comes out of the interview. I don't understand what the problem is with that card.

Thanks for your answers and support you guys. :(
