Abuse and ROC options (split)

I am not sure where to post this ... I was in a abusive marriage but I truly loved the man and I hoped things would work out . So like a true abuse cycle and a abuse victim I kept going on with the relationship as he ( abuser ) kept promising he would change . I had contemplated filing vawa long back and collected evidence of abuse ( NO police report , just letter from DV shelter , detailed pyschologist letter , letter from a doctor treating me for physical abuse , letter from DV advocates etc ) but I never got to file the vawa as my abuser promised me he will change and wanted to work on our marriage a real pyschological and emotional push and pull. I have a approved conditional green card , however I don’t see the marriage lasting till the end of the 2 year where removal of conditions need to be filed. What are my options ? Can I file vawa now ? After a approved conditional GC ?

I made a mistake of not filing vawa before and now that I have the Conditional gC approved , I feel he will abuse me further since he knows I am dependant on him to remove my conditions on the GC .... I want to take the right steps now

please help

Sorry for all you've been through and still going through!💜 remember that when love hurts, it won't work. Best to run to safety while you still can. Form I-751 waiver is available for conditional residents who have been battered or abused by their U.S. citizen spouse. Look more into it. We're all here for you.

you can get the waiver for removal of conditions. I am not super familiar with the process but do some research and get a consultation with a lawyer(not the same lawyer that handled your case with the marriage based)

also, I am sure VisaJourney has other forums where you can get this information from people going through similar situation.
