T.G.I.F !!!

We will be planting our garden this weekend! Hope everybody has a great weekend!

I love to garden! At this time I have 24 tomato plants, 4 pound of beans, and 6 pounds of onions to get into the ground. Have to get the peppers and cukes too! There is nothing in the world that tastes better than veggies from your own garden. The strawberries are already being picked in Michigan! I have to go pick a couple of lugs today, before all the good ones are gone. Happy Weekend everyone!

Happy Friday to everyone. I'm hoping to take off work today because my husband has today off. Sunday will mark two years that he arrived here in the states. Time has flown and life is good, even better than I imagined. Have a great weekend!

My grandmother always said that birds were creatures of habit. Wherever they find food, they will return to. She always painted rocks red and placed them near the strawberries. The birds would think they were food and try to eat them. When they realized they were not a food source they would leave and the strawberries would be safe! It always seemed to work for her, so I guess you could try that for next year. And, she would always put down something to look like snakes, some painted hose, or streamers. Birds don't like snakes? LOL

Last year, I had an "owl statue" in the garden and believe it or not, the head came off halfway during summer..lol ( i must have violent birds...lol...kids wont fess up to the missing head..lol)

I will try putting some "fake snakes and painted rocks" hopefully the snakes will stay intact...lol

Well I have to take my baby (dog) to the vet today cos she is not wanting to jump and that is not like her.

Want to choke out my husband as I was askinghim lastnight when he was going to be coming, he said when he gets visa in hand, sells the car, then he will call and find out how much the ticket and buy "so what is the problem?" :o I swear he thinks you I live my life on a moment to moment basis. He siad no need for details just results, my reply was well when you sit waiting at the ariport for someone to pick you up cos maybe i a prior engagement then I guess you will see what the HE!! I was talking about. He is really going to be in for a rude awakening.

Called DOS to see if the VISA was issued and the lady said that no decision has been made on the case, she didn't know that the passport was kept. So I asked what does it say and she jsut said interview June 5th. She said well maybe they have to review the documents, I said wel that would mean if AP was needed then he would of recieved a 221g right, she said yes or did they give him anohter form? I said yeah the form they gave him was so that he could pay Armex the fee to send his passport back. I said so really you have no clue right? Her reply, All I can do is read the case notes! So I asked her to check the other case K3 to see what is happening with that one, she said still processing. I asked ok what are the still processing, her reply, I don't know!:lol::lol:

So I had my laugh for the day and have to get ready to run around go to graduations tonight and remember that if DOS tells you something just say oh ok thanks!
