  • The appropriate Form I-864 Affidavit of Support for each financial sponsor along with a photocopy of the sponsor’s IRS transcript or most recent U.S. federal income tax return, and any relevant W-2s.
  • Proof of your U.S. petitioner’s status and domicile in the United States (photocopy of a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or lawful permanent resident card).
  • Evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and visa applicant (such as photographs, letters, or emails).

thank u so much Jeanne my questions is

- should the form be origin or just a scanned one is ok same thing for tax returns since we got them online in the first place

we also didn't submit W2 as for proof of employment we just submitted a copy of work contract

At present scanned is ok but they can ask for originals to be sent thru Aramex after the interview/  if you have enough time i would send originals by USPS overnight (4 to 5 days ) for delivery to nearest post office which the person must go to pick up

 

and as for contractors the following applys and you should have gotten a 1099 -misc in lieu of a W2

 

If you paid someone who is not your employee, such as a subcontractor, attorney or accountant $600 or more for services provided during the year, a Form 1099-MISC (PDF) needs to be completed, and a copy of 1099-MISC (PDF) must be provided to the independent contractor by January 31 of the year following payment.
