Today we received the NOA2 to say our petition was approved! We are super happy especially as it's only taken 3 months to get! I am the beneficiary who is hoping to move to the US from the Uk to be with my fiance. We have received the letter but I am a bit confused as when I check the status on the USCIS website using our case number (the same one as on the letter) it still says that the case has been received but not accepted? It's weird because I thought the online notification should change before the letter comes? I'm just not sure if this is something to be concerned about or not?

Also I have read up about the next steps but am a bit confused, I understand they will be contacting me (the beneficiary) next, however I am moving next weekend. Does anyone know how to notify them of a change of address? I will most likely pay for a redirection from my old address to my new one but wanted to try change my address if possible or does this not matter?

I am also wondering at what stage my fiance has to show proof of income, is this at the same time as they get in contact with me and before the medical/ interview?

Sorry for all these questions, I appreciate these may have been answered previously but I'm just needing more info, any helps is appreciated

You are worrying about nothing, a non-issue. The board will be updated eventually. What is important is that you have the actual NOA2 notice in your possession. Be sure to make several copies of the NOA2, and do not lose it. You will have to provide a copy of it later on in the K1 process. Now, that is something important.

Also I have read up about the next steps but am a bit confused, I understand they will be contacting me (the beneficiary) next, however I am moving next weekend. Does anyone know how to notify them of a change of address? See link below. I will most likely pay for a redirection from my old address to my new one but wanted to try change my address if possible or does this not matter? What matters is that you do a proper change of address with USCIS and USPS. Your fiancee will likely want to give the NVC your new address for use during the (Department of State) DOS phase of the visa process. Some of the USCIS correspondence has a "DO NOT FORWARD," or "IF UNDELIVERABLE, DO NOT FORWARD," notation on it, and therefore the post office is obliged to follow that directive.

I am also wondering at what stage my fiance has to show proof of income, is this at the same time as they get in contact with me and before the medical/ interview? See flowchart link below.

Sorry for all these questions, I appreciate these may have been answered previously but I'm just needing more info, any helps is appreciated  Many of your questions could be easily answered if you review the VJ K1 Step-by-step Guide: https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide/ . You would do well to become familiar with the many useful and informative guides that are easily available to you. Many of your questions are the same ones asked every day by others. Take some time to review several pages of forum postings, your question may have already been answered. You just have to let your fingers do the walking.👍

Congratulations!  Do yourself a favor and check out the VJ K1 Visa Flowchart: https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow/. The timeline on the flowchart is not accurate, but the sequence of events is still relevant.

Most of your questions can be answered in the following links. First join us over in the NOA2 to NVC thread and read the first post that contains the PDF file. Lots of information on what to do next to follow along the path of your application. This includes the CEAC website where you follow and not USCIS.

Second. Here is the information you will need once your file hits your embassy.

P3 instructions for the UK

London sub-forum on VJ

There are experts over in the sub-forum for your country located here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/  This is where others from your country who are processing or those who have completed their interview and they can guide you on their experience. A TON of information and help there.

Decreeabsolute with a judges signature. You need to fill in a form, D-160 which is available online to print and send it completed along with your decree absolute to Bury St Edmunds, the divorce court. I actually called the courts and explained my situation. They were most helpful in explaining what I needed to do. Signed certificate will be back within 3 weeks.

Read every link on  https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

and http://www.visamedicals.co.uk/us.htm

Ask London specific questions in the UK forum and you won't get answers from another country who may have different procedures at the embassy stage. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Congrats! Don’t worry about USCIS case status sites. They’re rarely updated or accurate
