Any Feb. filers still NOA2less?

If so, call NVC. If asked, they will tell you when your case was received and left their jurisdiction. They can also tell you when USCIS approved you.

Once you have this information, contact your Senator. The most expedient way to this is to go to his/her website, fill out a "Right To Privacy Act Release Form". On there, tell your story, give pertinent dates, sign and fax.

My last touch was May 5th and I went through several useless conversations with USCIS. 36 hours after sending my fax to Senator Akaka, I finally received an email saying we were approved.

I recommend anyone else having a similar difficulty to pursue this course of action.

02/23/08 - Received Notice for Interview (AOS)

02/26/08 - Scheduled Biometrics Done!

03/25/08 - Scheduled Interview (AOS) Approved! Thankful!!

03/26/08 - Notice mailed welcoming as new permanent resident

03/28/08 - Card production ordered!! Wow!!!

03/31/08 - Received welcome letter.. Nice!

04/04/08 - Received green card through mail! Truly great! Mahalo nui loa!!

Highly advisable to have for the interview and definitely needed at AOS time.

Yes you need it when you apply for AOS after marriage.

and it's a lot of money to replace!

OK i called my congressman. They said they could take care of it. My senator is Feinstein and I wont call her.

And got the paper NOA2 yesterday!
