Petitions are generally processed in a first come, first served design. So the sooner you file, the sooner you would expect adjudication of the petition.

That said, it's not a single line. I always use the analogy of it's like a massive grocery store with hundreds of checkout lanes. Somebody is always going faster than you. Somebody is always going slower.

That doesn't seem to be the case at all. There are people at the same service center with the same dates as ours and they are at the NVC stage already.

I don’t believe they are going in order and I’m not sure how they are choosing cases either. This is just a strange process.

In the first noa2 it gave us an email, try emailing and see if they respond

What doesn't seem to be the case? My response included reasons why cases are not always processed in a first come, first-served basis.

Ours took almost 2 months for our I129f to do anything. Others it takes 3 months even. It’s not always the same
