Hi everyone, I need some help. My case was reviewed a few days ago by NVC and my wife's proof of domicile was rejected. I already deleted it in the system to prepare a new one to replace. However, today our daughter's case, related to mine, in which we submitted same documentation, received the email with DQ. What do you guys suggest? I put it back in place, do nothing, or submit a new one? They can schedule the interview just for her,
regardless of the situation in my case?
Tks a lot for any help!

What did the rejection message say?  Why was it rejected?  What did you submit?  Did you submit in portrait or landscape orientation?

Hi! And thank you very much for your attention.
First of all, we’re in Brazil by now.

- The rejection message says that my wife “...might not have a principal residence or be domiciled in the US. Please submit proof of domicile.”;

- We’re trying to figure out why it was rejected because the same doc was approved today in our daughter’s related case;

- We submit our joint US bank statements, school arrangements for our daughter and other stuff regarding job and home in US;

- We submit it in portrait orientation, same as we did in both cases.

And today we received the DQ email for my daughter regarding that NVC will work with Rio de Janeiro US Consulate regarding the interview date.

So, we’re now thinking what to do and if is possible they schedule only for her, even our cases are related (we’ve paid only one fee for AOS review and submitted exactly the same docs.)

Tks again!!!

I don't know.  That's why I asked a series of questions you ignored.  Answer those and maybe I'll have a suggestion or maybe more questions.  We'll see.

Submit the same documents again and anything else you can find to show the "intent" to "reestablish" domicile in the US. Also call them

You still didn't answer my direct questions.  Look at them and see if anything means anything to you.  If it does, deal with it or just answer the actual questions I asked.  If you want help, ANSWER questions.

Yes! We just did it on last friday! 🙏🏻

good luck! i'm afraid I might end up in the same position, so i'm interested to see how you do with it.  are you submitting documents online? mine are all submitted online, so i'm wondering if I can add documents once I've already pressed submit (they haven't yet been reviewed by NVC)

Yes! All the NVC process is being online for us. After you submit everything they ask by the first time, you only will be able to send more docs if they told you do so. The system is very simple to handle. But you need to meet all the submit requirements (like archives size, PDF format, etc.). They explain everything they need on CEAC website. Hope that you go well! 👍🏻
