USCIS website says "Case was sent to the department of state" , But?

My case i-130 for spouse has been sent to NVC on 23th october 2019, yesterday. But, I call NVC today 24th October 2019, and they said they didnt have any update on my case?? If USCIS send my case yesterday why their is no update on NVC system yet, that they receive my case from USCIS yesterday??

My case was sent on Oct 9, 2019 And was received by the NVC October 17, 2019. I am still waiting for a case number from the NVC. You will need to wait about another week or two.

Thanks, but why it take time when USCIS send to NVC system. should not it be update right away that they get case ?

I agree but they are mailing it to the NVC it’s not sent electronically that’s why it takes a few days. Once they receive it then it will take about 2 to 3 weeks to get a case number from the NVC.

From USCIS sending your case to getting a case no takes about 4-6 weeks, It looks like even though they tell you they sending the case, they don’t do it immediately.
