What is the petitioner's involvement once the applicant lands in the US

This is an f4 immigrant visa case. 

 

I want to ask that after the applicant lands in the US, what involvement does the petitioner have with the case. Is the petitioner still needed for the green card and other things like that?

Green card is granted upon arrival,  

 

Aren't you also the sponsor?

After the sibling and derivative beneficiaries arrive in the US, the petitioner is not needed.  The petitioner remains on the hook for the I-864.  The immigrants can pay for their green cards themselves.
