Mini Timeline...

07/27/2018 - Filed the I-751

03/29/2019 - Had the Biometrics Appointment

10/23/2019 - Case Status Updated to "New Card Is Being Produced"

Not to sound dumb, but does this mean that they have gone past the point of having to decide if an interview is necessary?  To me, it sounds like enough evidence was provided, and that they felt that no interview is necessary, therefore, they have ordered the new, 10 year Green Card.  And with that, (I suspect) the petition to lift the conditions has been approved.  I am dubious only because it does not say that the petition has been approved, only that the card was being approved.

The current status on the USCIS website says that "We completed our review of your fingerprints and are continuing to work on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence."

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?  They would be much appreciated because I am so ready for this whole process to be behind us so that James can start the next step, which is to become an American citizen.

Thanks in advance,
Peter

Where does it say “new card is being produced” if your case status is still on fingerprint review?

The status was changed today from "Fingerprint Under Review" to "New Card is Being Produced".  This changed at about 5:00 pm ET today (that's the time that the email was sent).

Oh... okay

Then yes, your case is approved without interview, and they are producing the 10 year green card.  Congratulations.  It will change to “card is mailed to me” and then eventually to “case was approved”.
