My fiancee and I also got denied and I've been following a few cases closely and they all seem to get denied. I have yet to see one approval. I'm just curious if anyone's been approved over the last few years if not it's a wast of people's money and downright discriminatory.

What was the reason for the denial?

*** Moved to Regional (Africa) section of the forum since it is country specific

@Unlockable Thanks for moving it to the Ethiopia forum. They just didn't believe the relationship and it almost seemed as if she was going to be told no regardless of the interview. I'm just curious as to if anyone has gotten a f1 visa in that country. If they are just auto denying everyone who applies then that's a huge issue

Usually, denials due to not believing the relationship is real is because there was lack of sufficient evidence of the union. Often times we see on here where people only briefly meet once in 2 years and at the meeting they get married. Also, huge age difference, big difference in religious beliefs, little to no interaction with each other's family, are other reasons that would give an officer suspicion.

I see that you made a thread about this before. It is against the rules to make multiple threads about the same topic. I will have to close this thread per VJ's policy. If you want to find people who have gone through Ethiopia's embassy you can use VJ's portal

---> https://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=Ethiopia

There you will find every member and subject matter related to Ethiopia. You can also utilize the search button. You can continue the discussion about your case and your other thread.
