Visa approved / Status AP

Hi everyone, I need your help. I got approved at my interview on the 17th of October for cr1 visa and was given the white sheet with information for my visa and passport pickup, only to check my status today at ceac and I've been put on Administrative Processing but haven't received an email regarding that. Has anyone experienced this? What should I do next Thank you. 

 

PS my interview was at the US Embassy in Ghana

AP time range is measured in hours to years. There is not much you can do at this point but wait

My mom was approved yesterday( 22nd) and was given a sheet to create account for pick up.i checked today and status says is on administrative processing.i think it takes a while for the system to update.You should wait  for the 10 business days they said in the letter to pass before any panic.

Same thing here from Nigeria. Interview on the 17th. My own(principal applicant) showing administrative processing while my dependent is issued. In fact she has even gotten email to come pick up

Am also approved 22 October was told you visa will be mailed within 7days but my ceac shows AP and my AP was completed on September 24

There’s nothing to worry abt , AP is standard n everyone goes through it after the interview that’s the time they also put their papers n approvals in order b4 the Visa can be printed , it’s not instant ... I got issued 8working days after my interview in Ghana so meaning I was in AP for abt 2weeks ... AP is jux a black hole no1 noes how long they will stay there but if everything is good shld take a couple of days to be issued 

nothing to worry abt at all it’s routine n there’s nothing u can do until u r issued

I had my interview last month on the 17th and still  I having received any information about it.

Wow. I thought I was the only one experiencing this. It would be great to know if someone here went through the same and they received their visa without having to go back to the embassy to submit more documents

I always check and call them but they say nothing

It’s useless calling them my dear 

I went through it n got my passport bck a month after my interview... it’s frustrating but Dnt worry u will get it bck
