No prejudice to OP, but reconstructing the case, as best I can imagine:

Nigerian guy enters on visitor visa, professing strong ties and intention to return home after visit. With allowed duration of visit coming to an end, he marries a US citizen 12 years older/younger, and files to adjust status and remain in the US. The case file is scanty of documentary evidence of a bona fide relationship; at interview they can't corroborate basic information of marital union -- the color of the bedroom curtains, whether the bathroom has a window.

See where I'm going with this?

Whew! You made it sound horrible! But, look.. I look younger and act younger than he does.😊We started out as friends and it just grew to a level we never expected. We fell in love and got married!
He’s my everything!

He got nervous when we were separated during the interview and forgot the color of the curtains, but told officer that they are probably purple because she loves purple and of course that was correct. He misunderstood the window Question. He is not from here and there are still some things he doesn’t know. I had to tell him what a pumpkin was and  explain Halloween. When we started dating I had to explain tipping, all the foods (he wouldn’t and still won’t eat most of them) and what bowling was... We bowl almost every Sunday after church and he Bowls  200 + games.  I love him so much! Just pray for us!  😊

p.s. it’s hard to explain your whole story, barriers and the like in an interview like that!

I'm not questioning your sincerity, but I hope you can see why a USCIS officer might. I hope it all works out, but I would be prudent and prepare for some skepticism. Good luck!

Despite the jacked up interview!! We are approved as of today 11/29/19!!! B2 to AOS!!
it’s crazy how 2 strangers met and fell in love, married and started this immigration journey together!! It’s rough, but worth it.  Thanks to all for the well wishes, hopes for the best and prayers!!
