Card ordered for production

Maybe this will help other people.

I became conditional resident in September 2002.

I applied to remove the conditions when it was due. 3 months before the second year, I believe this is right.

I got an extension letter for a year and then nothing else.

Then at an info pass appointment I received an additional one year extension.

When I went to check on the status a few months before the expiration of the second letter, I called USCIS and was told that it had been denied.

Many times my attorney and I called, and it showed denied.

My extension expired, and I was out of status, and at the info pass they would not extend it, or stamp my passport anymore.

Throughout this time I had never received any letter that it had been denied.

After many calls to USCIS, I receive a letter saying that my application that been denied but that I could submit it again.

I submitted it again, they received it on January 18th 2007, February 18th I did the biometrics.

And then june 4 2007 received the email that card production had been ordered, and today june 7 2007 I received the email that my application had been approved.

It has been a very long journey but i'm glad it's almost over ( I am going to apply for citizenship in a few weeks )

thanks, and I hope this is useful to other people.

Hey Juan,

I understand that you don't want to bore us with excruciating details or expose your business for all to see, but you left out critical info that might make your story useful or credible. You basically left us with more questions than answers. For instance: was your AOS investment- or marriage-based? If it's the latter, is it to a USC or LPR? If marriage-based, did you submit a joint filing with your spouse? If not, what was the situation with your spouse - separated, divorced, abused? What were the circumstances surrounding the denial? What transpired during the time between the denial and the request for resubmission (I doubt it was simple as "Hey, dude you've been denied but you can resubmit if you want"). And when you resubmitted, was it a joint-filing (if marriage-based) and if not, on what grounds?

Not that I'm trying to stick my nose in your business it's just that there are too many gaps in your story that it doesn't make any sense in it's current form, and quite frankly, sounds like it was made up. A little more info will add more credibility and more value to your unique story.
