Simply question. I just received my 3 years tax transcript from IRS. When summiting them to the NVC do I send in my originals from IRS or can photo copies do? What do you think guys and what did you do?

OK....you ordered tax transcripts but you have the originals? Why did you order transcripts...it sounds like you didn't need them. :blink:

A photocopy will always do unless otherwise asked for. Whenever there is an interview you may be asked to provide the original copies so be sure to put them in your Immigration package that you keep.

Feb 25, 2006... Submitted I-129F

Jan 4, 2007... Interview date Visa in Passport

Jan 30,2007... POE Blaine Washington, Pacific Truck Crossing

March 8, 2007... Mailed AOS and EAD

May 21, 2007... AOS application APPROVED with interview (Day 67)WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO

May 29, 2007... GREEN CARD ARRIVES.. and email from CRIS approval notice sent (Day 75)

Sept 25, 2008... Moved to the UK

Feb 24, 2009... Mailed I-751 to CSC from UK

December 30, 2009... Approval notice!!

Jan 9, 2010... 10 year GREEN CARD arrives.

May 31, 2012... Express Mailed N-400 application to the Nebraska Service Center for military spouses filing overseas

Jun 11, 2012... NOA date and Cheque cashed Day 11

Jun 28, 2012... Placed in line for interview scheduling Day 28

Jul 20, 2012... Email from USCIS London for info to schedule interview Day 50

Sep 1, 2012... Moved back to the USA

Sep 12, 2012... Email from USCIS London scheduled for interview/oath Sept 28th in the UK(will be day 120)

Nov 26, 2012... Had submitted change of addresses. Notification that I have again been scheduled for interview Day 179

Dec 1, 2012... Letter arrived Day 184 with new interview date Jan 4, 2013 (Will be day 218)

Am sorry friend I guess I was not clear. Ok here it is, I had to order transcript because I am missing my 2004 tax return. This week I received my new past 3 year tax transcripts that I will be using for my I-864. Now the question is, do I send in this new Tax transcripts just here they are from the IRS or can I make photo copies and send them instead? Hope this is better...

just send the photocopies. Then make a copies for your wife also for interview

NVC Received :

Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill : 2006-11-15

Pay I-864 Bill 2006-11-20

Receive I-864 Package : 2006-12-08

Return Completed DS-3032 : 2006-12-14

Receive IV Bill : 2006-12-19

Pay IV Bill : 2006-12-22

Recv'd DS230 packet from NVC : 2007-01-16

Recv'd another letter from NVC that they need additional req'ment and which is DS230 : 2006-01-16 (what?!!!! i just recv'd DS230)

Send DS230 to NVC - 2007-01-25

NVC rec'd thru USPS tracking - 2007-01-29

NVC confimed they recv DS230 (2007-01-30) and I-864 (reviewed and ok'd) - need to wait for 2-4 weeks for case completion.

Rec'd RFE from NVC (need certified copy of Birtch Cert. and Marriage Cert.) - 2007-02-13

Sent Mail Cert Copy of BC & MC thru fedex overnight to NVC - 2007-02-13

NVC rec'd Fedex Mail. 2007-02-14

NVC confirmed they rcvd the mail - 2007-02-15

CASE COMPLETE - 2007-02-28 (YES!!!)

Schedule Interview - 2007-04-12

Recvd her visa - 2007-04-27

If I remember correctly, when I had my K-3 interview, they specifically asked for the originals (not that there's any major or visible difference between original IRS transcripts and photocopies), but keep in mind, when you copy them to sent them in (or when you copy them for your records), the pages are double-sided, so be sure to copy both sides.

Wow. That was a really long sentence. :lol:

06/05/07 - Received NOA2 in the mail

06/14/07 - Petition at NVC; Case # Assigned

07/02/07 - DS-3032 & AOS Fee Bill Generated

07/03/07 - Emailed NVC w/Choice of Address & Agent (DS-3032)

07/05/07 - Mailed AOS Fee to NVC

07/13/07 - NVC confirms Choice of Agent (via e-mail)

07/27/07 - Received IV Bill

07/30/07 - Mailed IV Bill (Overnight)

07/31/07 - IV Bill @ NVC

08/04/07 - Received I-864 Packet in the mail

08/08/07 - Mailed I-864 (Overnight)

08/29/07 - Mailed DS-230 +documents (Overnight)

09/20/07 - Received RFE (for original docs) -- sent to NVC

12/12/07 - Recieved Interview Letter from NVC

01/15/08 - Interview in MTL... Approved! YAAAAAYYYY!!

01/16/08 - Picked up passport from consulate & activated the I-155 @ POE

02/09/08 - Received "Welcome" letter (Notice Date: 02/04/08)

02/11/08 - Card Production Ordered

02/15/08 - OS155A Immigrant Visa & Alien Registration Approved

02/21/08 - Greencard Received! Goodbye USCIS `til 2018!!
