Erm, i don't mean to be annoying but i just checked my NOA and found on the ASC Appointment Notice, the service center is WSC. Anybody has a clue what is that? I sent my package to CSC isn't that where they process my application? Then I went to USCIS website to check the process time there isn't a WSC listed. Hmm....

hellokittymm,

Are you sure that is doesn't say WAC?

The California Service Center was originally known as the Western Adjudication Center.

Hi,

a web search for that comes up with this definition from an immigration website. It seems to be based in Laguna Niquel although I don't know how up to date it is - it does refer to the immigration department as DHS so it is relatively recent. http://www.immigrationequality.org/manual_...ate.php?id=1156

"Service Centers: offices of the DHS that decide most visa petitions. There are four regional Service Centers for the entire U.S.: the Vermont Service Center (VSC); the Southern Service Center (SRC); the Western Service Center (WSC); and the Northern Service Center (NSC)."

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
