G-325A, & Passport photo for K-1visa

Hello, 

 

Does the G-325A  need to be done for both beneficiary and petitioner? when downloaded it give a 2 week expiration date on form.. My fiance is in England, i am in America. i fear it will expire by the time it reaches me and the place of review. can someone please help. also when he took his passport photo it not a pure white background. Even though they took it in front of a white background  its not as white as the ones taken in the US.. will that help?

A G-325A is not needed for a K-1. I think you may be referencing an out of date guide or instructional video.

Hi! i looked at the guides on this website and it said that we need it. but only in the cover letter. so confusing

passport backgrounds depend on the country

my Adil's is grey so not to worry

even here when he renewed his Moroccan passport,  Walgreens was able to match the background color

2016, actually. It was needed when I filed for my now-wife.

Ah, that letter is outdated. But the guide is not.

it was on that guide. but only in the cover letter example. thats why i got confused. thank you!

You may want to print out the instructions for the I-129F directly from the USCIS website.  You appear to have outdated info.

yes, it was on the "example" for the cover letter. but no where else.  it is definitely out of date.
