Did you receive an interview letter from both NVC and from kin embassy? I received one from nvc with the date, case status says "in transit" to embassy. Wondering if I'll also receive an official letter when embassy gets it.

Also, did you have to register your interview online?

I had only gotten the IL from NVC.

It didn't  say "in transit "

IL was 2 weeks from the interview  date, not 30 days.

I had email the embassy  asking  for the the check list  same day of the IL, got a reply   from them the  following day.

1 day after the check  list  i got  an email  telling me  that the system  shows that i haven't  register  for the interview and that i need to....so i use the link in the email and registered.....

Is your iL within  the 30 days of your  interview date?

You also need  to go on andrew memorial  site  to request  a medical  appointment date.

You can also check   the status of your case on... ceac.state.gov   to  see when it changes  to " Ready" which means that they  have received  it..

You  can email  them too.

DQ: OCT 25th

IL: NOV 13th

Interview date: DEC 4th, so 3 weeks

Sorry, meant that when I check my application status on ceac portal, it says "in transit"....that wasn't in the letter itself. So then maybe in a few days it'll change to "ready"?

Medical has been scheduled for next week. I had initially gone to nvc website and selected the requirements for kingston embassy, and saw that I needed to register the appointment. But when I went to register it through the link on nvc, I kept getting an error that it cant be registered yet. I tried to register same day, so maybe I should wait until the status changes to "ready" and try again

I'll also email the embassy I guess

Once it gets to the interview stage, the process itself is pretty similar...so its still appropriate to ask about general experience. Sorry for the confusion though!

No I understand I was just wondering if you were f2a I am in the f2a category and my DQ was oct 28 am hoping to be surprise with a interview soon

Also, did you receive the visa package as yet? And how many days did it take to receive?

I haven't  received  the visa package  yet.

Was told it would  be ready  within  2 weeks. Also we will get an email  from DHL.
